Clinics
LSB hosts a wide variety of clinics in our spacious office building and on the grounds. These clinics ranges from educational courses on horsemanship to farming and pet/farm/animal care. We are proud to house clinics and courses that are hosted by well-respected professionals in the respective fields. While there is a fee for some clinics, most courses are free and on a first come first served basis. Therefore we do ask you to register in advance.
Dale Myler Bitting Clinic
Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 9pm to 5pm
Dale Myler and his brothers Ron and Bob are third generation horsemen, and are three of the world’s leading bit designers. Dale’s extensive research into equine dentistry and physiology has evolved our understanding of not only the mechanics of bits but also how they can contribute to the communication between horse and rider. Their unique designs focus on mentally relaxing horses so the rider can achieve more effective communication.
Known for his kind and thoughtful approach, Dale is motivated by a genuine desire to improve the relationship between horse and rider. He has done bitting clinics and seminars all over the US and around the world: Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Wales, England, Germany, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Poland, Switzerland and Austria. He speaks at expos and for many organizations, as well as conducts private clinics and seminars.
We have also arranged for Dale to actually bit your horse. This would involve you bringing your horse to LSB. Dale has traveled all over the world to bit horses at every level and in every discipline from dressage to reining, hunters... to cutters, flat seat to barrel racers. No matter what your discipline (or lack thereof) this is a rare opportunity to receive guidance from a world renown expert. Cost for the individual bitting consult is $85.00 and there are four spots available.
