CT EARS Winter Equine Preparedness Workshop

Clinics

LSB hosts a wide variety of clinics in our spacious office building and on the grounds.  These clinics ranges from educational courses on horsemanship to farming and pet/farm/animal care.  We are proud to house clinics and courses that are hosted by well-respected professionals in the respective fields.  While there is a fee for some clinics, most courses are free and on a first come first served basis.  Therefore we do ask you to register in advance.

CT EARS Winter Equine Preparedness Workshop

CT EARS Winter Equine Preparedness Workshop Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 12pm to 5pm

Join us at Lock, Stock, & Barrel in Bethany for a great workshop on how to make sure your horses and barn are prepared for winter weather - especially potential emergencies. We will be discussing safety, wellness, and supply suggestions, as well as tips on what to do in the event of an emergency. Examples are taken from actual responses the EARS Equine Emergency Team has been involved with here in Connecticut. All participants will receive handout materials, and we will be drawing a FREE RAFFLE for an Equine First Aid Kit!

This workshop is being presented free of charge, but donations are appreciated. It is also open to everyone (all ages) interested. It is perfect whether you are a horse owner, barn manager, volunteer, or simply a horse fan. We do ask that you RSVP so that we can assure the proper amount of handouts for everyone attending. For more information, contact us directly at [email protected] or (203) 872 - PAWS.
