Equine Emergency Demo

Are you a horse owner, barn staff, volunteer, or just share a love for these amazing animals? Are you prepared for equine emergencies? Do you know what to do in a disaster? Have you ever wondered how equine emergencies are handled? Well... THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO LEARN!
Please join the Emergency Animal Response Service's special Equine Emergency Team for the first-ever "Demo Day" being hosted at Lock, Stock, & Barrel (770 Amity Road, Bethany). This event will be a chance for our team to highlight the training, equipment, gear, and work that we do to help horses in need. You'll have a chance to ask questions, watch rescue demonstrations, and even try your hands on some of our equipment.
From 11am - 4pm there will be activities for all ages taking place. We will also be hosting "mini-talks" on the hour at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm, where you'll get to see an example of the things our team does including learning about assessing a horse's behavior during stressful situations, basic triage for horses, creating an emergency halter and practicing evacuations, and more!
We will also be hosting a fundraising raffle and bake sale, so come on by and join us!
