Retail Associate

Lock Stock & Barrel, a feed and farm supply store located in Bethany CT, is looking to add a retail associate to our growing team.  To be a great fit for this role you should have a consistent work history, previous retail experience and a passion for customer service.

Retail Associate Responsibilities:

• Dedication to customer satisfaction and a great customer experience.
• Assisting customers whenever necessary.
• Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction.

• Working closely with the owners.
• Maintaining an overall style that follows company best practices.
• Ensuring company policies are followed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Process POS transactions.
• Ensuring that health, safety, and security rules are followed.
• Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service.
• Motivating fellow employees and ensuring a focus on the mission.
• Maintaining merchandise and a visual plan.
• Maintaining stores to standards, including stocking and cleaning.
• Opening/closing procedures.
• Completing tasks assigned by owners accurately and efficiently.

Retail Associate Requirements:

• Prior experience as a store associate or previous retail experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• High school or higher education level.
• Computer literacy.
• Professional appearance and attitude.

• Stable work history.
• Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development.
• Can work autonomously when required.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
