Winter in New England: Deal With It!

As a warm fall leads to the start of another New England winter, the inevitable snow, ice and rain that makes a New England winter so special (or so frustrating!) is on its way and we have no choice, as our new billboard ad states, but to deal with it.

We have all the tools and power equipment you need to handle Mother Nature this season. Our snow shovels, ice choppers, and roof-rakes will make short work of the immediate needs close to the home.

We can assist in setting you up with the right machine based on your needs. Sizing is first and foremost. How big is the area you are clearing, how fast you want to get it done and what is your budget. Working with that information we will set you up with the right machine and accessories.

Our electric power shovels and snow-throwers take the back pain out of walks and decks and are an economical choice. We have a full line of single stage snow-throwers that do an amazing job for the size of the machine. Mary and I purchased one last year for clean-up and have been amazed at the job it can do!  A wise choice for your smaller driveways and walks.

Our two-stage snow-throwers come in a variety of sizes and accessories. Starting with a 24 inch to 30 inch.  Some models even come with tracks. They look like mini bulldozers and are amazing for moving large amounts of snow. They come with headlights, steering, heated hand grips even a snow-shield to protect you from blowing snow.

We have tractors ranging from 18 hp. lawn tractors to 100 horse power farm tractors. Starting with the lawn and garden tractors, these can be set up with plows or snow-blowers, wheel weights and soft cabs to keep you out of the elements. Next comes the larger diesel tractors with buckets on the front for pushing and piling snow, and also available are plows for the front which make for faster clean up. On the larger tractors a power angle plow is also available. We have 3 point hitch snow throwers that will amaze you with their power and are easy to install and remove. The tractors can be outfitted with a front mount snow-thrower and on the 35 hp. and larger models they can be set up with a loader mount front snow-thrower that has a rear PTO mounted power pack for the ultimate in snow-thrower versatility. All this while you are sitting in you warm cab with the heat on, wipers keeping the beat to the stereo and light package making it look like day-light in your work area. We also have snow-throwers for skid loaders with both high and low flow hydraulics.

Always in stock are a full line of ice melt products including pet safe, rock salt and calcium chloride pellets. Available in small shaker containers and 20 and 50 pound bags.
