Is It Worth It

We ask ourselves this question daily.  Quite a few times when considering a purchase or change.  Lock Stock & Barrel (LSB) operates from a foundation of creating, maintaining, and delivering value.  But what does that mean?

Products.  Our approach might be a little different.  At LSB, value has a deeper meaning than price alone.  Sometimes we angst over a decision for weeks before moving forward.  In the case of our feed vendors, the animals come first.  Is this product healthy?  Where are the ingredients sourced?  Will this offer our customers an option to enhance the over-all well-being their animals, pets, herd, or flock?  Are the products organic, non-GMO, grain-free, made in the USA?  We scrutinize and analyze all things to create value.  Price is only one component in this equation.

Evolution.  The way we feed our animals today, as compared to only 10 to 20 years ago, is radically different. The on-going evolution of the feed industry will continue to give us new and exciting products to offer.  In some cases, this will require rethinking long held beliefs about the care and feeding of our animals.  We must continue to train our staff to keep abreast of new developments in order to serve you better.  LSB creates value by tirelessly working to provide the best selection, newest products, and lowest price.

Education.  In the front building, our conference center adds value by hosting clinics run by select professionals providing tips, insights, and education.  In turn, our delivery trucks bring this education, in the form of new products, to your farm at days and times that work on your schedule.  All this allows you to maximize this precious thing we call “time.”

Equipment.  Our outdoor power equipment department has everything you could ever need to maintain your property.  From a small city lot to large acreage farm, everything is under one roof.  We back that up with fully trained and certified mechanics to repair your existing power equipment.  “Should I have my equipment serviced at the dealer or by a friend?”  Understanding LSB’s process should help you decide.  We start by picking up your machine at a pre-set time that fits your schedule.  The pick-up process initiates multiple inspections of your machine by industry professionals.  First is when we pick up machine.  Second comes when our staff receives the equipment and creates a repair order that specifies the issue and itemizes the work to be done.  Third happens when one of our trained and certified mechanics sets to work.  By the time our service manager tests your machine to make sure the work is complete, it’s on the forth look.  The final and most important look is done by you.  When our staff loads your machine in your vehicle or delivers it to your door, they will take you through the work done.  All of this with factory parts and full factory warrantees, that gives you peace of mind knowing that we back up what we do and are available seven days a week.

All of these things go into our thought process in establishing value.  So the next time you are asking yourself “is it worth it” come by and see us. Our Job is to provide you with quality products, service and most of all the value you deserve
